This is a Japanese television drama which aired on Fuji TV starting May 12, 2008. Actually, Politics never really interests me and i don't understand about it seriously. Moreover, watching it will be more bored and had no climax and this is my first thought.
However, i give it a try as Kimura Takuya acted in it. I been watching his drama on television whenever i was young. I bet none who don't know him.. =D So, i start to watch [Change] and to my surprise, i got stuck to the first episode, i like the tempo and atmosphere in the drama with exciting plots and funny scenes.. In this drama, I learn that not all politicians are bad and there is some really wish to help those citizens and the whole country. I really think Kimura Takuya acted really well and makes me think he is really a genius in acting. Other cast in it are good as well, some adds laughter and some adds fury.. ^^

Story:
The story begins with the deaths of ruling party's Fukuoka legislator and his eldest son, his heir apparent, in an accident. It is decided that a by-election will be held, and Kanbayashi Masaichi, the leader of the ruling party, and secretary Miyama Rika conceive the idea of fielding the second son, Asakura Keita, who had been renounced by his father.
After Keita graduated from senior high school, he went on to a university in Nagano because he wanted to live in a place with beautiful stars, and eventually became an elementary school teacher over there. Well-liked by children and satisfied with his beloved star gazing, Keita has no interest in the world of politics. However, at Rika's persuasion and the pressure of his family, he reluctantly decides to announce his candidacy.
Upon returning to Fukuoka, Keita is given a hearty welcome by supporters. The election strategist, Nirasawa Katsutoshi, arrives there. He is guided by the notion "election is the only permitted legal war" and begins Keita's election campaign.
There is last episodes scenes where he say his speech to the whole country. To my surprise and i think to the surprise of all Japanese and all people who watch this drama because no one(i think) ever speak a 22mins30secs 1 to 1 talk with the camera. This is really shocking. I was a bit shock because around 16mins+, he cried. I seen a video and it say that he had a no NG(No Good), manage to do it with one shot and the scripts is 15-pages long. 0.0 Indeed, i like him a lot after this!! =D Give it a try and i bet you won't regret.. ^^
